Cycling is more than just a mode of transport—it’s a tool for empowerment, leadership, and community transformation.
TandEM is a train-the-trainer programme designed for women who want to lead the way in making cycling more inclusive. Whether you’re an advocate for sustainable cities, passionate about empowering others, or simply love cycling, this is your opportunity to step into a leadership role and make an impact in your community.
🌍 Why This Programme Matters
Across Europe, more men than women cycle daily—not because women don’t want to, but because barriers like safety concerns, lack of infrastructure, and limited role models stand in the way. The best way to change this? More women leading the movement.
That’s where you come in. TandEM equips women with the tools, knowledge, and network to become cycling trainers and advocates. Since 2022, our alumni have led local cycling initiatives, connected with like-minded women across Europe, and strengthened their leadership skills.
What You’ll Gain
💡 Leadership & Training Skills: Learn how to teach and inspire other women to cycle. 🌍 An International Network: Connect with women from across the EU who share your passion. 📢 Entrepreneurial & Advocacy Insights: Gain skills to grow initiatives and create lasting change. 💰 Financial & Logistical Support: Receive €350 to fund your activities, plus a fully covered trip to Brussels (travel & accommodation included).
How It Works
The programme combines online learning, an immersive in-person weekend in Brussels, and hands-on experience leading cycling sessions in your city.
