Training programme: Citizens on the Move 2025

🛠️ How It Works

The programme consists of four online modules and an in-person site visit in Rotterdam. Participants will work on a real-life case study from their city, culminating in a final presentation of their engagement strategy.

This programme is tailored for civil servants in European cities working on urban mobility, including those in:

• Mobility Departments
• EU Project Offices
  
• Smart City Divisions

🎓 Scholarships Available

Professionals from Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) countries are eligible to apply for a competitive scholarship covering the full programme fee.

🌎 Eligible countries include

EU Member States: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia.

Horizon Europe Associated Countries: Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye, Ukraine.

Outermost Regions: Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Réunion, Martinique, Mayotte, Saint-Martin (France), Azores, Madeira (Portugal), Canary Islands (Spain).

📌 Participation Requirements

Participants must:

✔ Propose a case study from their city related to a mobility project.

✔ Engage actively in all four online modules and deliver a final presentation.

✔ Attend the in-person site visit in Rotterdam.

Programme Fees

💰 Standard Fee: €1,200

🎓 Scholarships: Up to 10 available (full fee waiver).

✈ Accommodation & Meals: Covered for the Rotterdam site visit (participants cover their travel costs).
