Follow the directives to complete the Canon Printer Installation procedure. Read the directive in the book that came with the printer. You can also look for manufacturer model support on Google. Connect the printer to the computer using a USB cord and turn it on. Permit your system to detect the printer, install it & printer software as well. If you don't have the disc, navigate to the manufacturer's website to get the drivers. Lastly, install the driver by launching the downloaded file. Your printer is now equipped to fax, scan, or print.
